Rainbow Bridges

God sends Angel’s to watch over all I do
There will be mountains to climb everyday
To make my journey more clearer and bright
My Angel builds rainbows daily from the skies

She colours my world making it less grey
With rainbows bridging the way to brighter days
Across the skies rainbows show the way
Off a promise there’ll be sunnier days

I’ve searched for a rainbow to bridge the way
Whenever I’ve needed shelter from the rain
It’s kept my journey a little lighter
So I’d be able to face another day

On the Wings of Prayers

Upon your wings I’d place my prayers
And felt every worry leave my body
In all the decisions I’ve ever made
I’ve laid them upon your wings

I’ve often placed myself in your loving care
I’ve always felt safe there
You’ve always shown me the way
Whenever worry  came my way

A Personal Journey

I’ve stood alone in this darkened world
And my hearts silently bleed
In all the darkness in my life
You’ve been that one shining light

Seems like forever I’ve wandered
Down this darkened stormy road
You’re always the light I’ve kept insight
A place to shelter from the storm

A world with no more shadowy nights
Would suit me alright
I’d leave all the darkness behind
And turn all the coldness to summertime

All I could ever ask of you
Could there ever be a world without darkness
And maybe my world would fill with love
So I’d be able to rejoice walking in light

A Journey

Whatever road you may venture
Your Angel’s footprints will never leave your side
God doesn’t want our footprints
To walk there journey alone

From the moment you were born
Your Angel’s there protecting you 
You’ll always be blessed with love
Whatever journey you may chose

Everyday I turn to my Angel for guidance
To show the road that lies before me
I’ve  followed when they’ve lead the way
Knowing I’ll be following God’s plan

Together we’ve walked millions of miles
Through the good,bad,happy and sad
And no matter which road I  ventured
My Angel’s  there every step of the way

The wings of an Angel

Gods Angels listen to our prayers
With their wings graced by light
The wings of his Angels
Are so pure and ever so white

Love allows their wings to spread
Providing shelter in our hour of need
You’ll always be surrounded in radiant light
If you have the faith to believe

Their strength will guide you through life
In your heart they long to be
May Angels be with you my friend
May you always be guided by heavenly wings

An Angel by your side

Whether you’re in need of a little reassurance
Or when you’re just feeling sad and alone
Your Angel will always be near
So near you’ll almost hear their footsteps

Angels will guard every step you take
Beneath their beautiful wings
They’ll show you how to fly
So one day you will soar like an eagle

May the Angels always visit your door
Under their wings you’ll never fall
May they always keep you standing tall
Whenever worries rest upon your shoulders

An Angel Has Spoken

An Angel has spoken
Her words did I hear
Be not afraid my child
I am always so near.

I lighten your path
I hold you within
You are not alone
The veil is so thin.

I hear you in silence
Your fears do I sense
Darkness is ending
Light shall commence.

Your pains do I share
My heart reaches for you
I weep when you suffer
My love is so true.

As a child you called to me
You needed me there
My wings to protect you
To guide you with care.

With age…you forgot me
You looked another way
But I am still with you
How I long for the day.

As days turn to months
And months turn to years
You find yourself seeking
The Angels in tears.

I fly to you swiftly
With wings soaring high
To embrace your sweet spirit
Behold…it is I.

I walk with you always
Never shall I stray
I am your Angel
I will show you the way

Forgiveness

Forgiveness for me is hard
At times it feels easier
To hold the grudge
Rather than letting it go

When my heart and head do battle
Because of my lack of ability to forgive
I can’t seem to let bygones be bygones
I’m often overwhelmed by my foolish pride

Will others see me as weak
When I haven’t turned the other cheek
My ego’s been difficult to repair
And I’ve completely lost the ability to forgive

I’d like to be able to offer you a pardon
But it’s  a long painful process I endure
Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose
Whenever I fear the end is near

I’ve often knelt in prayer
And with the love of my Angel
Who helps me through my ups and downs
I’ve been guided along the path of forgiveness

My Angel

Wherever my life may take me
My Angel will walk beside me
God gave us each an Angel
To watch over us with love

From the very first moment I was born
She’s often laid her heart on the floor
Her wings would spread to shield my battles
Whenever I was feeling down trodden

Whenever things did go wrong
She’s the wings beneath my feet
I could feel the vibration of her wings
As they lovingly wrapped around me

The divine touch

Whenever life weighs you down
Don’t focus on life’s battles
Count the blessings in your life
And you will find your way

Whenever you’re overcome by rain
And you can’t see through the clouds
Pray and you’ll find that rainbow
And your sun will begin to shine

Whenever your faith has been shaken
And your hearts been left in doubt
Always believe in the power of love
Because love will overcome all the odds

Whenever life delivers a cruel blow
And your journey’s become full of heartache
Your Angels are alongside aiding you
You’ll never travel bumpy roads alone
